My thinking also. I hauled a piece of machinery that they had split in 2, however after debating on the permit requirements, they had to get another truck to haul the second piece. It was considered a divisible load.

Yes and no, it came off the top of the piece at the back so it would cost to much more to ship so they give an exception.
