Just looking to see how they do they`re orientation/training for experienced drivers. I`ve got six months OTR and not sure if that would count me as "experienced" but it`s worth an ask. Pretty much just wondering if after orientation if I`ll have to go back out with a trainer or just get my own truck and start. If it matters I also went to a cdl school. I`d call them and ask but it is the weekend after all lol. Thanks for the help all.
Looking into Roehl but got a few ?`s first

you should only need the otr trainer time, depending on your orientation road test
-
how long is that time ? Cause I know training pay sucks and don`t want to be stuck with a trainer for like 4 weeks.
-
Well have to take a refresher thing. I was told that I will go out with two differnt trainers, which will be both roughly two weeks a piece if that helps at all.
-
You will probably have to do 10-14 days with a trainer.
-
like a couple of these guys said it depends on your road test. You'll probably go to orientation for 1 week take your test with an instructor. Then go home till they assign you a mentor to go with for 1-2 weeks depending upon how you do with your mentor will determine on when you get your rig. I went through roehl's school and spoke with a couple of drivers and thats what they had to do. Hope that helps.

well hopefully I can get in with them and it won`t take long. But thanks everyone for the advice.
