Well I have a Panasonic in my truck. I was 12 hours loading and cranking my system up. Im wondering what sort of sound systems people are running.

I put in Macintosh apple systems in all my trucks, 1000 watts a channel and we remove everything out of the sleeper and put the speakers in place of the bed.

I have a versatile 3 piece combo in the bunk.
Does get crowded during my 10.

Ok, seriously I have replaced some "systems" with better Equipment, but one driver has a simple Kenwood receiver, an Alpine 4 channel digital amp, and a mix of Kicker and Rockford speakers. He was specific on what he wanted and because he is a top producer, his wish was granted ... reluctantly. Most of the other systems that we used for replacements are just plain single din radios, the Kenwood seem to hold up the best.

I just put a JBL Partybox 310 in my sleeper. Works off the inverter and sounds great

Replaced my factory speakers with infinity kappas, Sirius xm built in to the alpine head unit and that’s it, don’t need a loud stereo, listen to the truck

I had a Logitech z906 setup with my TV when I was otr. I had the sub under my bunk. It sounded amazing during my downtime.

    I have:
    Alpine head unit. $225
    Rockford Fosgate 100x4 amp. $345
    DS 18 6 1/2” mids $35
    Focal 1” tweets $75
    DS 18 2 way crossover $85
    Skar 12” sub $200
    Sub box $175

got the amp running 2x100 to the front x-over for the 4 speakers up front and 200x1 into the sub. The amp is 2 ohm stable. The fronts are 2 ohm so the amp puts out about 175 watts. The sub is a dual voice coil so it pulls about 425 watts.
So for less than $1200 I got a system that will rattle windows and I had the satisfaction of doing it myself.

    77fib77 Thanks this.
