The school I went to that I got my CDL from did an excellent job on weeding out the bad drivers. Had one African guy that had paid 3 times to go through the school and was mad as hell because he never did pass.

Dude could not drive to save his life and expected to pass because he gave them like 15K. The owner of the company told him he was wasting his money as he will not be able to pass him from the way he was driving in classes. Was thinking about this after I seen that crash. Unfortunately most places do not have higher standards and some was giving out CDL's for cash in CA a few years back.

I normally do the same thing but have noticed a different kind of crowd showing up the last couple years. Seems no place is safe at this point.

But how do you get experience if you can't get hired? I just started out on my own dollar.

Should have some commonsense test done in understanding basic surroundings before getting a CDL.

never fuel at one of the last pumps, same as never park in the end of an aisle overnight that way you are only dealing with the people fueling and not just the people flying through that are turning around in the parking lot for whatever reason, these two things lessen the chance, but nothing is idiot proof

The first(and last) time I went there I parked in the big back lot that has a LOT of space between the rows facing each other. I thought "There's a lot of space here. It will be no problem pulling out" only to wake up and find all the flip-flop wearers parked in the middle of the lot blocking a lot of trucks in. What a joke.

I'm telling you man, that's a disaster area. Sometimes my company uses that as a fuel solution. It'll get audibled every time unless it is late

This is a third world country right now. Everywhere is not safe. And it's getting worse by every single day passing by. Plan your future accordingly.
