I'll ask for better pictures later but right now I don't want to bother them during the holidays, meanwhile im trying to get some opinions on how worried should I be about this and how bad could it be.
I'm suppose to pick it up next wednesday and I haven't seen it in person. Seller said "its not structural dmg".
buying a 14' cottrell 5307 with some damage, how bad does it look?

do you know how much im looking at to repair that?
will it fail the annul dot inspection because of that? -
Looks like it's rusted through you can plate it but it's according to how rusty the rail is

Anything can be fixed with a good welder
justcarhaulin Thanks this. -
thanks ill upload a couple more pictures when he sends them.
I also have to install a 200A power cord for the hydraulics since I don't have a PTO, but seems like I'm not googling the right words to find what I'm looking for... do you know what kind of installation, cable, plug, etc. its needed? Is it a standard thing on all cottrell setups without pto? -
Where else is it rusty? Have you crawled underneath it?
-
Search for lift gate cord/charging cable. It will depend on the receptacle as to which one you need.

There is literal junk being pulled down the road. If this trailer lived most of its life in the south it should be in pretty good shape. Minor welding here or there but looks pretty good from what little can be seen here.
