Haha I know. It's been awhile now but I had one truck they decided to sell after I put 20k miles on it or so. Then I got one that had roaches in it. Then I got one the clutch burnt out after a few weeks. Then the next one lasted about 200 miles and shut down and threw every code imaginable (international) then finally got a shaker I stayed in until I left

Did you end up getting a local ltl job after leaving heartland?

Hi folks, Rob here—with Heartland Express. I've shared this in a couple threads today, so you may have already seen our message. If not...
As you all know, the best feedback and company review you can get is from your fellow driver. As it relates to some of the commentary, we're turning over a new leaf and are here to answers questions as fast and as best we can.
I'm not here to monitor what folks have to say (positive or negative) about our company. We're not going to get in the way. I'm logged in to serve as a resource and to provide answers to your questions whenever possible.
Please feel welcome to reach out at any time. We're here to serve.
I'll do my best to answer your questions and comments in an immediate fashion. Though, sometimes due to the volume of social channels I am actively participating, it can take 24-48 hours to respond.
Cheers,
Rob at Heartland Express -
You actually have time to talk to drivers on internet forums?
-
You missed the other thread he posted in. He's since been banned.
-
Lol of course he was. Why don't you talk to actual person currently hired at your company? Lol

I’ll give you the standard issue answers. I drove SE Regional for them very briefly, and though it was many years ago, my experience seems to be pretty common. If I’m wrong, someone can update me.
SE regional ran all the way to upstate NY for me. Canandaigua, to be exact. Miles never exceeded 1735. Yes, that was my best week there. Trucks were well maintained but spec’ed as cheaply as possible (mine even had roll up windows!). Insurance was substandard. And there was a LOT of sitting, particularly if you delivered a load in the morning. You might get a load for later that night.
The best I can say is that the equipment was some of the best maintained I’d ever worked with. But it wasn’t worth it.
Maybe they’re better now. I can’t honestly say. This was my experience. Good luck to you!Bud A. Thanks this.
