As everybody else has mentioned, and easy to overlook, those pushlock fittings at the air dryer and the tanks are terrible about leaking.
Also check the leveling valve, fittings, and air bags for the cab and suspension. They have the same pushlock fittings. Cab air bags are often overlooked.
Don't expect to hear most leaks. You likely won't be able to hear any of these leaks.
Also as mentioned before, you will have to spray down with soapy water. I use a little Dawn mixed with water, in a spray bottle.
You're probably gonna find every fitting at the dryer and air tanks leaking. Good pushlock fittings are expensive.

Main problem with push lock fittings is the person doesn’t cut the tubing off reallly square, and that causes a leak. They must be square account of the end being the sealing surface and they do not have a ferrule or insert to seal with.

Hole in 5/8" air line, inside the frame rail, next to the clutch linkage just behind the motor mounts. I don't have any 3" long 15/16" wrenches

I have found that 75% of all mysterious air leaks are in the road ranger transmissions. The air leaks thru the valves and is lost inside the trans. Many times silently. Park with shift selectors in dir or od helps sometimes but ultimately shut the air off to them while parked overnight and problem solved.

I totally let that slip my mind. I actually have a truck that I am working on at home that has a leaking selector valve on it right now that is pressurizing the transmission and pushing oil into the air lines.
You are correct about them being silent leaks. The way I diagnosed this truck with the air pressure loss was by placing the shift selector in the "overdrive" position and the leak stopped. When in the "direct" position it bleeds off about 8lbs. of air pressure every hour.Magoo1968 and SmallPackage Thank this. -
Thank you everyone for the advice and replies. I still have not found the leak but will be keep looking.
it takes around 5 minutes for the tanks to build and hold pressure in the morning and it is always my primary tank taking longer to build pressure than my secondary.
