5x14=70
168-70=98
98-34=64
70+ 14 = a pretty good week

 

I usually run hard enough that I can be out of hours and get in a 34 before I get back ANYTHING on recap. I will have about an hour or so left on my 14 most days when I almost out of drive hours. But again... how is that giving back anything to the FMSCA?

 

They just told me they don't do the 1000 for home time anymore. ???

 

Doesn't look to me like we disagree. Did you read the snippet I quoted? It said "we don't do 34 hour resets".

Your numbers need explained

 

Using the 34 hour recap you can have plenty of hours to work. Just like recaps.
My point was aimed at the guy that said the 34 recap somehow gave “hours back to the FMCSA”…..,

Yes 34 hours usually result in slightly more hours but like i said your numbers dont mean much
