To everyone else I appreciate the advice and line of talk you have a going .I'm paying close attention
Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
Not sure what part of Nova Scotia you live in however, PepsiCo in New Minas, NS looks to be paying alright. Yeah, considering it's a local job not sure if you would care to do the daily drive your viechle back 'n' forth. Considering you live in Nova Scotia which has a lesser populous than Ontario, Canada the pay seems reasonable good now a days. https://ca.indeed.com/m/viewjob?jk=...50KbzkdCdPP&xpse=SoAM6_I3GtEkEzQY7x0JbzkdCdPP

I know nova scotia and new brunswick housing prices have gone crazy because everyone’s leaving places like ontario and BC looking for cheaper places to live .I know someone who bought a house with a 1/2 acre in Deer lake newfoundland for $154k that needs a roof and foundation work . the real problem out there is crappy paying jobs he’s lucky to fine one paying $20 a hr . House like that here where i live is $600kAnother Canadian driver Thanks this.

A lot of company's in the GTA don't pay much more than $20 hr so that $20 down east goes much farther than it will in Ontario.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

I've never understood why anyone would want to be anywhere near the GTA. Cost of living so high that you work to just exist.

Besides housing there's not much difference. Depends on how long you've been here. I bought my condo new for 145K 20 years ago. It's paid for and is now worth 500k. I only pay a condo fee and property tax which totals about $750/month.Another Canadian driver and Peplow Thank this.

True. I was more refering to the young people who are just getting started in life. I'm seeing a lot of videos of young folks saying they can't survive without room mates in the big cities and I just don't get why they don't leave. Its not like $20/hr jobs are hard to find everywhere else in the country and rent/house prices are half or less in many cases.gokiddogo and Another Canadian driver Thank this.
