Depends on the company. I've seen drivers with only one leg or one arm.
I've met two drivers that had two artificial legs.
Coming out of retirement to drive again.

Yeah back when I could walk I'd run across a flatbed driver in Dallas that only had one leg. My problem is I can drive but I can't get in and out of the truck and stand in check in lines for hours like I used to do.

Transland is the bottom of the barrel. They're equal to Swift, maybe worse. Could have improved now that the lying safety manager,who had complete contempt for drivers is gone.

@catdog45 --
If things somehow don't go well with FFE -- you might try Frey Miller:
Frey Miller -- OTR reefer freight -- Wilmington, NC -- 6 months exp reqd
Frey Miller also normally offers a driver refresher program. Not sure if you'll need to take it with them, or not.
That will likely depend on their insurance carrier's criteria vs you & your history.
