Really? I’m looking at retirement shortly. Love the truck, but if I was retired, there’s no way I’d come back out over a truck. lol.

The Troutdale depot was a mess today! I should’ve brought some ice skates. I can only imagine what the yards in the places that get some real winter weather are like.

I have to agree. This is the first day I have sat down and had my coffee and watched it snow and not been in a truck stop somewhere.....kinda nice.austinmike, hotrod1653, navypoppop and 5 others Thank this.

It’s 8 degrees here in Humboldt, snowed 8 inches overnight and still snowing like I’m in Wyoming. Last I heard last night was the system would more than likely be shut down today. And, I just saw the Humboldt Department of Public Works go by with a pickup truck and a plow, with some guy throwing sand out the back with a shovel. This should be a fun day around these parts.austinmike, runningman0661, Speed_Drums and 10 others Thank this.

Several years ago, traffic in Knoxville was completely shut down because of icy roads. We were sitting on 1-40 and somebody hollered over the CB, "here comes the salt shaker" LOL Guess what it was? A man on the back on a dump truck with a bag of salt dumping the salt. This is Tennessee's "salt shaker".austinmike, hotrod1653, navypoppop and 4 others Thank this.

If nothing else, we have a sense of humor here...

Sad, you don't find too many things today in trucking to laugh about. The laughter is gone, got replaced by "screw you". And this is not only found in trucking, but it has became the "standard" of our society.austinmike, dwells40, navypoppop and 6 others Thank this.
