If you're still stuck here tomorrow, which i doubt, give Solly's Bar & Grill a try. I'd come up and buy lunch but i aint getting stuck out in this cold crap unless making $$$
I had to go up to Jefferson Sunday to start our trucks, i doubt the block heater will do much good in this weather.

The Sawmill across the street from the Richfield terminal has good food and drinks too.
MIT Thanks this. -
Sawmill a bit pricey. No one makes a burger like Solly's. The original Wisconsin Butter Burger, Culver's tries.
MIT Thanks this. -
From what I hear and who knows if it’s true. But Heartland is going to be selling the Alvarado yard because they just bought a much bigger lot down the street. makes sense in a way. With CFI, Heartland and Millis using that current yard there is absolutely no parking at times.
Heartland also sold Olive Branch, along with a couple other terminals out west. -
I always liked Olive Branch. Much better than staying at West Memphis in one of the truck stops. Alvarado, the brand new terminal?MIT and Still undecided Thank this.

I delivered to a place next to the Heartland yard that used to be around Dallas. I thought the area was looking familiar as I got close, and it was.
I took liked the Olive Branch terminal, it was way better than any of the truck stops around there.MIT, dwells40 and JOHNQPUBLIC Thank this. -
Yep it’s the new terminal, but with all the use it is to small.JOHNQPUBLIC Thanks this.

I was about to ask what y'all were going to do in Memphis but then I remembered that either CFI or Smith has a yard in West Memphis. That Olive Branch yard was kinda a pain to get to unless you were coming from Midwest Whse but I liked it for some reason.MIT and JOHNQPUBLIC Thank this.

I was most of the way there one afternoon when I had the cops had the road shut down and I was on my own trying to figure out how to get there. I was leading the parade down some small road that didn't look like a truck route while my Rand McNally GPS tried to reroute me through some residential neighborhoods or on some road that wasn't big enough for a truck to turn down. I got through somehow, but I was anticipating ending up on the accident types and costs message the next dayMIT Thanks this.

Picked up a load out of Molson in milwaukee. Scaled out at 79100. Was having issues with tandems. Decided to roll with it. This morning scaled it again since I just wasn’t comfortable with the suspension gauge. Lost 3500lbs to the melting snow and ice.
Still undecided, Gremlin304 and JOHNQPUBLIC Thank this.
