My son lives in the Philippines wants to drive truck here in the states. Would a trucking company do a work visa? He drives box truck on some of the most dangerous roads in the world I think he would do great here. Over there he gets paid 100.00 a month lol. If anyone knows of a company that would send a work visa let me know.

Tell him to pack a bag and get over here, we need him. My son married a gal from the Philippines, fact is just returning from a trip there. Crazy place, 113 million in the size of Arizona. We hear a lot about unqualified drivers from other countries, and that's not entirely fair. We have drivers doing an outstanding job from all over, to single any out as incompetent, is wrong. I shipped a car once, a wonderful young man from Somalia driving some rat FL, did the job. Truth is, I bet many American drivers couldn't handle it elsewhere. Good luck, there is a wealth of knowledge here, he can't fail. Good luck.
Numb Thanks this. -
Wish he could pack and just move here. We already filed for him go get here but the waiting list could take years, our application hasn't even been looked at. Maybe he should just go to Mexico and cross the border I'll drive down and pick him up. Seems more easy that way .

We as Americans take it for granted, but we don't even think how tough it must be. I think in a situation like yours, it's who you know to expedite matters. I suppose one could cross the border illegally, plenty do, but I feel, starting off on the wrong foot, and best to do it by the book.
