    You mean the new breed?
You're right, Pop, ..... O/O's aren't real fond of them in general. But I think many if not most O/O's also realize that some of the newBees who make it to, and past, rookies, will become proficient enough to be called Big truck truckers, a few rungs above Big truck truck driver.

Adding insult to injury, not only are the new breed trying to bring in a new attitude that isn't appreciated, but the large low-life truckin' companies undercut O/O's rates by rippin' the newBees off.
    YuP!
    Many have.
And many were chewed up and spit out by the larger training companies, --- folks who would otherwise, probably made it successfully.
    Even more so now-a-daze.
. I hear you there, driver.

:biggrin_25510:I started with england, got my cdl, and begin driving. The 12 hour trip on Grey hound was a nightmare. the hotel in waxchehasee,tx was horrible. You have to fight for a ride on the bus to school. Anyway I got my CDL but england screwed me from the start. they charged so much for leasing the truck that I owed them at the end of the week. TRucking companys know that they can get drivers all the time, because most drivers are stupid and they know it. If you want to forget about a life and drive day and night, bad food, showers every 2 to 3 days, and work for hours on end with little communication to the real world, than go for it, you are probaly ready to commit sucide anyway.

I have to admit I was one of the stupid ones who went to England thinking it might work out. lol Ya right, like You I got tired of running 4000 miles a week and getting $100.00 if that to take home. Then wen You quit they blackball You on DAC, (easy to do since they arent held responsible for what they put in there.) . The only way I have found around it is to start Your own company, get Your own running rights, (they make it sound like its impossible at England). And go make some money!!!:biggrin_25525:

Anyone that signs a L/O agreement is a fool...

But that's a well established fact here, Isn't it?

My husband loves his job, and he pays the bills, so thats all that matters to me :) He wanted to be CR England for years, so he was glad to be able to go there. He's driven for Prime, and some small companies. Maybe not what everyone wants.. but he's happy and our bills are paid.
