I'm having an issue with my fridge. Today when I opened it, the light was blinking and it was off. I cycled the power button off and on and it worked again. It's been doing it all day. I'm afraid my milk might not be good anymore. Does anyone have suggestions? I'm parked for the day (since last night) in Ardmore running off the apu.

Wow....you got me on that one, did you call Chris or Nate? Nate may be the better one to call for that issue.

I have not, yet. I figured it out, but it leads to another possible issue. I decided to run the truck for a bit, and when I turned the key on the voltage was sitting at 11.7. Having just shut off the apu, that doesn't make sense to me. So, the fridge was going into low voltage protection. Since starting the truck the fridge has not cut off.

Well, gentlemen, the day has come. Just sent in my official notice of resignation.
Got a call last Saturday while broke down in Limon that my mom was in the hospital and it didn't look good. Messaged Travis, he did what he could to get me home Tuesday on a load I could deliver Wed night, and I've been at home since. Mom got diagnosed with multiple stage 4 cancers, all too far gone to do anything about. Prognosis was set at roughly 6 months, but could also be a year, or a couple of weeks. I've gotten "that call" before when my best friend passed away in 2019 out in west Texas, and I was in Jersey. I can't be on the road when and get that next call that she's gone or on her way out. I know me, I will park this truck where it sits and hop a plane or a bus or steal a car GTA style and break ever speed law between there and the hospital, which would shred my dac report all to hell and make any future endeavors more difficult than it should. Plus, Climate has been good to me, and I can't do that to them. So on Feb 9th, I will be turning in my truck and paperwork, and head home to take care of my mom. It has been a privilege sharing the road with yall. Don't know yet if I'll ever be able to come back out on the road. But if I do, it'll be right here running Climate Miles :)

Sorry for the bad news, brother. We all get a limited time on this Earth and even less time with all of our loved ones -- completely understandable you're taking some time off the road.

I'm sure Climate will take you back whenever things allow. Enjoy your time with Momma and best of luck to you and your family

Man oh man.....first the snow, then endless rain lol. I'm down here n NC getting unloaded and it's like 62 degrees here. First time I've gone to McLane in Concord, NC. I was scheduled for 3 am and they are already unloading. It may be my new favorite McLane after tonight. It's a Sauer load. All mayo except for 1 pallet. That makes unloading so much easier.

On a side note, I went to deliver at Costco in Atlanta earlier this week. I hope I never have to go back there. I always seem to have trouble in Atlanta with folks' attitudes. They have overnight parking, but only for 5am deliveries. Then if you park on the side street, you'll get a knock from the police lol. Once I realized that I was close to the Coke we go to, I went to my hideout not far from there.
