Sure no - one left any prawn heads, (shrimp) under a seat somewhere? Something may have fallen somewhere and no matter what lavender oil or pot purri you use the stink will stay there till you remove the offending object. If other staff as saying it smelt ok when they were in it, that could be the reason.

also forgot to mention, I've tried hanging charcoal bags. didn't work. maybe I'll try a mixture of vinegar /water?

I bought some cheap , junk perfume at Walmart and dumped it in the air vents inside the truck, then soaked the seats with it.
Another bad one was a woman driver. Again, got some cheap perfume and dumped in on her mattress; not the sheets, just the mattress.
