The problem is if the DOT or the national saftey council shut this "new canadian" down , before his plates are even off of the trucks in question another member of his family will have them plated and they won't miss a trip except the drivers won't get payed cause the bad nasty authorities shut them down.

if that add had a north american sounding name you can bet that the National saftey council would be paying someone a visit.

Welcome to the politically correct part of Canada maybe you boys in ontario should show this add to Micheal Ignatiaf and ask him what the liberal policy is on this :biggrin_25510:

If you are serious about trucking in Canada you might want to aim for Alberta .

I really do believe this ad is for real now, because i have come across another ad posted by this individual about runs to Montreal from Missisagua, but there is no revealing "job description", so it sounds like an legit job.

Obviously this individual is really looking for someone to run Montreal.
Someone should maybe pretend, that they are interested in this job and secretly videotape the whole thing, then pass it onto the W5 or some investigative reports...or better yet have those guys to come out themselves, so we can see this on the national news...

I remember some time ago a Punjabi driving school got pulled over in Toronto over some safety violation....about 8 students crammed in one truck, just like the one in the picture and nobody spoke one word of english, including the instructor...

Only about 500 miles to Quebec City so you should qualify for the local rules for logbooks. 1000 miles in a day for 22 cents a mile, sure. Sounds like a good gig, being able to bypass the scales and all.

I personally like the "Truck needs maintenance, you fix" part of the ad....

Also i noticed that the wording of the ad has slightly changed ever since i posted it yesterday...now it has more complete sentences and the "wage" went down from $225 to $200.....

I figured maybe the guy who posted this, got one of his friends who speaks "better" english to proof-read it...:biggrin_25513:

I liked the "You dont need sleeper truck as you can make it to Quebec City and back in one day" but when "you drive with out log book" 1000+ miles a day is nothing I guess.
