2024 Cascadia Electrical Line Socket Breaks When Backing

    Yep as he turns truck it lays under and when he comes around it pulls everything tight when it catches.

    Those Freightliners are bad about having the light cord not adjusted correctly. You turn sharp while backing, and the cord gets hung on the frame hucks.

    Straighten up and it breaks the cord or recepticle

    Inspect the black wrapping on your cords I bet it’s hooking the cord plug then yanking it out . I taped some duct tape around my plug and it stopped hooking .

    I would switch the loop around and see if that makes a difference. Also, does it happen when you turning left or right or both?

    I ended up getting the electrical line replaced with a longer one. The old one always snapped out of the socket when I'd make a sharp left turn, fortunately the new line seems to do the truck!

    First time that plastic one broke I would have replaced it with a good Aluminum one from Phillips or comparable. Made the same as the pigtail end you already have. Them plastic ones are just cheap factory economy ripoffs.
