2016 Freightliner DD15 Won't Start - Tried Pressurizing Tanks, Changed ECM, Filter & Pump. Any Ideas

    Hey guys, I've got a 2016 Freightliner with a DD15 engine. Here's the issue: it won't start. We can get it going by pressurizing the tanks, but as soon as the pressure drops, it stops running and shuts off. We've already changed the ECM, the filter, and the high-pressure pump

    Have you checked all o-rings on the filters and fuel lines for cracks?

    If you have to pressure fuel tanks to start, then has nothing to do with the parts (besides filter) that you have replaced. Try bypassing fuel tanks and lines by running feed hose from 5 gallon bucket of fuel first.

    Was or is there a check valve in any of the fuel filters? There is usually one on the davco suction side.
