Hey guys, well im just posting this to say i appreciate all the valuable information you guys gave me about the industry, and i probably couldnt get so many answers anywhere else. TheTruckersReport sure is a place that i would recommend. After a long hard thought i figured out trucking might not be for me. One things for sure though i sure came away with even more respect than i already had before for truck drivers. Just this past Sunday my pastor told me a trucker contacted him and told him about a truckers church, and if i remember correctly he was asked to speak there, so its great to see theres more of us folks who lends a helping hand to truckers. You guys sure do keep our country going. Im not going anywhere though, Ill still be on here every now and then, cause im always interested about learning more, and who knows maybe ill get me a truck stop or restaurant somewhere down the line. Anyhow you guys take care and stay safe out there.![]()
Thank you, truckers report community

I will throw my Thank You out as well. When my husband and I first started talking about trucking for a career change, I hit the internet for info. Once I came across this site, I began to hit it several times a day.
The info I got from here has been invaluable in helping to make a decision. I feel we were able to be as informed as possible. We listened to all those who felt that truck driving was not a good decision. We listened to those who love it. We listened to it all.
So, to all of you, who contribute to The Truckers Report..THANK YOU!!JustSonny, otherhalftw, bullhaulerswife and 1 other person Thank this. -

Thank you for the good word. I 'm a stronge believer that experience should be passed on the best it can. I also believe that correct legal information should also be passed on with the back-up links or the law itself so no one will get into a bind. There's a million truck stop lawyers and some do pass on info that's correct but I have seen some that have not.
Big Don Thanks this. -

Yeah after being OTR, I'm thinking of going into the Truckstop buisness myself.
1st idea I'm implementing, putting a 2nd set of bathrooms on the FAR side of the lot!
