There are still a few trailers running around down here doing local work or storage trailers for a construction company that moves from site to site. swifts driving school down here used the tractors for close to 10 years because they were manuals and they trained for Central Frieghtlines for LTL.
MS had gotten the Michelin account after Michelin shut down and sold off their private fleet around 1996. As soon as Swift bought MS most of the guys that had been running that account bailed and some stayed for as long as they could but problems with delivery carnage started to happen almost instantly. Wasn’t to long and Michelin decided to get out of the contract.

That dark forest green and flouresent orange were unique. You knew who was coming from a mile away. One of our long time friend, neighbor, and farmer has had one of there old shakers for 30 years now and uses it for the harvests. That orange is now faded down to a mild yellow. Lol

This was one of their 50’s I-H’s they restored. This was at a truck show we had at the Marion High School back in 2009. The original green wasn’t as dark as it was on the later coe’s. That “marker paint” orange was a pain to hold it’s color as you can see the roof has already faded from being out in the Tejas sun. 2A9C1477-47F8-4F79-82BC-D0971EDF1828.png
