High-speed train that will hurtle from Los Angeles to Las Vegas at 186mph gets the green light for $

The rail cars for the projector already built… Rail car manufacturer in Salt Lake City has about a dozen of those bright line cars sitting outside the facility

The line is only going to Rancho Cucamonga which means a lot of people in L.A. are going to have to drive 50+ miles to take the train. And if you thought the videos of unruly airline passengers were bad, just wait until you get a bunch of drunk Raider fans on there. I bet they're going to be removing a lot of passengers in Barstow.

 

Maybe there will be some more $2 a mile flatbed loads out there now. Yay

 

The station is slated to be a major transportation hub where metro link will be going in and out of as well the commuter rail

 

It also works out as there is a “catchment area” in the Inland Empire region. Folks in that area don’t have to drive all the way to L.A. to catch the train.
It’s the same reason why they can fly out of Ontario International Airport instead of LAX.

 

It's all Monopoly money at this point
