Central Indiana. I bought the trailer for primarily my own use, but I might end up using it more, we shall see!

 

I have a 40'X102"x60" foot frameless trailer and it really depends on the product and the condition of the ground at the location. Normally I lock the trailer down raise it up until the product moves down the bed and settles then I lock the truck down and walk the trailer to the truck. Each place is different and even going to the same place things change as the loader operators move product. NEVER take anything for granted.

 

...and never back out onto a fresh fill. Never.

 

@NightWind i spent last night camped out at ES&G, I left around 3AM and saw some chicken lights up by the scale, was that you by any chance? @Sons Hero i like that old star car, they never really got the recognition they deserved IMO for how cool they were, there’s a guy by me that has 2 low max flat tops for sale and they look SWEET!

 

Well it’s Tuesday so I thought I’d check in on everyone and see what everyone’s doing. I brought haydite down into the bowels of Kansas today and now I’m waiting in line at the salt mine (shocker). @Arctic_fox what are the long shot chances you’ve dumped salt at UCHealth Hospital on Briarwood Pkwy. in Colorado Springs?

 

Not dumped salt there sadly. Looks like fun on the sat view though lol...yesh good luck XD. But in seriousness i just got off some home time so im just getting back into the swing of things. Picked up a nice truck tool box too so i can move wilson the airbag from my passenger seat FINALLY when it comes in. Looking forward to having it back lol.

 

Thoughts on this trailer would be greatly appreciated. I told the seller I’ll let him know tomorrow morning what I decide. I realize that’s not much time to give your input, sorry.

It doesn’t look bad at all. I noticed the mudflap says Midwest Concrete Materials, if that’s one of their trailers and not just one of their mudflaps, that’s probably good, MCM seems to take care of their stuff so it was probably serviced regularly.

 

Haha yea I know I had the same reaction when I saw the satellite view. Oh boy. Well that’s good you got to enjoy some hometime. Now you can get back out here and sit in line for hours on end like the rest of us. I came down thru Lyons today, not a soul at that salt mine. A buddy of mine is at Kanapolis said he was in and out like 3 trucks there. Get to Hutch, lined up to the prison. Oh well least I’m outta town for the next few days.

Yessir I’m told it was MCM’s trailer and yes I was also told that they have a very good maintenance program as well as good drivers. So that’s definitely worth something.
