I’m new and naive, and maybe shouldn’t be responding but I have a question. Why not just apply and see what happens? You either get hired or you don’t. Apply until someone says yes. Right?
Need help to find Second Chance Trucking Companies or is my driving career over.

My son has a cdl a with tanker and hazmat but has no experience. He also is now in the sap program. Can someone please let me know if he will able to find a job? Or how long will he have to wait to get a job? Or if he will ever be able to drive because of the SAP and no experience? Thank you for your help.

Some companies will hire him after he completes SAP. Most drivers have problems completing Step 5.
Here's a website for Step 5 if he needs it.

Well young lady, i give you credit for entering the trucking industry, not easy for you, but you managed to drive a commercial vehicle. You will get that second chance, almost sure. NOW, your dirving skills have the get 100% better. You should try and find a Spotting job in the yard, i can gaurantee after 2 years in a yard you will be a much better driver. With all the accidents, i would not recomend you driving on the road for a while. Do this, so you dont ruin your second chance. Good Luck

That’s not looking good. How does that happen?
