I just graduated from CDL school and accepted a job at Schneider for a dedicated route for Lowes out of Mount Pocono, Pa. Orientation starts on Feb 26, 2024, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the hotel is like where they put you up for the two weeks you are there prior to going with your trainer? I'm going to the Carlisle, Pa location.
I have seen some other posts about what to expect while there and it doesn't seem too bad.
Any help is appreciated.

This is a previous thread,

I can't speak for the hotel -- but the Carlisle terminal is nicer (to me) than the one in Atlanta.
I always liked stopping there.

Generally speaking, Schneider puts people up in decent hotels. Single rooms, kinda like a Super 8. There's a few hotels very close (walking distance) from the center. Any one of them would be fine.
You need to reexamine your priorities. -
Anytime a "training engineer" opens his or her mouth -- PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to what is said.
Learn all you can from them -- while you can.
They are probably some of the best in the business.

Thank you for both comments. I've heard nightmare stories about filthy hotels that some other companies place you in while in training and can't seem to find anything about this location so that should be a good thing. I did hear alot of good things about the trainers and I'm looking forward to going.

I swear every single hotel drivers complain about. No matter the company that put them there
