EPA inspections on emissions true or myth?

CARB can shut you down for emissions.

 

Isn't that new California scale on 15 close to Nevada an epa inspection station?

I know the sign said something about smog check when it was just about finished.

 

I've been checked in Montana as well and nowhere else

 

They can’t shut me down!

may have changed now but last I knew if carb was set up inspecting trucks you could drive right by flipping the bird and they couldn't do a thing about it unless they had CHP with them

 

It'll probably be nationwide soon enough. Hopefully my state finds better ways to spend the money for a few more years.

 

Buddy of mine from Newell got a ticket in 2022. They had CHP directing trucks into the CARB check.

 

Jack Buell would gladly fund whatever needs funding to keep emission crap out of Idaho. Lol. He has way too many old Cat’s and A models to let them go to waste.
