Your lack of experience in a tough freight market is going to make it hard for you to land a local position. As for home weekly, your best bet would be to maybe look in the flatbed sector of trucking. If local is what you truly want, you'll need to do whatever it takes to get there. Are you willing to work in any sector of trucking?

The suggestion in post 2 will definitely make a driver outta you, probably put you way ahead of other drivers.
