    I'm pretty happy with my setup. I like my radio and my amp seems to be doing a good job. But, what are some things to buy just to add?

    This question probably doesn't make sense. Basically, I just want to buy something. Haha.

    You could do what I do and buy different antennas and try them out, then keep them for "spares." Or a coon tail comes to mind..:biggrin_2559: I just looked, and I have four antennas under the bunk in this truck, including a Wilson5000.

    well, here is an example. what is a good small flourescent bulb that I can put on my antenna? I want it to light up when i key up. Hahaha.

    I've heard xenon works too, you could just get a little flashlight xenon light bulb.

    Back in the early 60's they had a base station antenna called " THE SPEAKING BEACON " antenna which had a small gas lamp in the top that would light when you transmited.

    The Add said " guides people to your door " however we thought of it as guides the FCC too ......:biggrin_25514:
