Wiring issues would set a fault incorrect values will not.

Well after a bunch of trial and errors finally found that one of the injector cups had a hairline crack. Removed the head and had all cups replaced and problem. Solved

So was it actuslly coolant you were smelling and not fuel? Werw you losing coolant, or notice it pushing any out the overflow?

GU, GK, PK, TK, and HK all used 15:1 compression. 16.5:1 started with BK and MK.

It was the low-nox programing that caused most of the smoking with the TK, PK, HK, and earlier DDEC engines that were updated to DDEC 4 ECMs. It's a few simple updates in the ECM to get rid of the smoke for anyone that's having white smoke on a cold startup. That's obviously not the problem here though, as it's been solve.
