I'm not being an ###, but seriously, get off the forums, go do what I said, and you'll know more about where your problem is in 30 minutes.

100%. We can bounce suggestions around all day but until some things are checked we can't do much more than that.

Fuel shut off solenoid can cause some random problems.

I had a similar problem before. Changed injectors , pump and few other things, nothing was helping.
You gotta manually measure fuel at the pump, then remove fuel line before the ecm cooling plate, put it in the bucket with diesel, run the truck and measure again. If fuel pressure is much higher now, blow shop air into that tube so it goes into the tanks.
After that my truck started to run fine again

Dieseling is pinging and knocking. Pre-ignition, its loud. If you've ever heard a car do this after you shut it off it sounds like a bunch of silverware in a box shaking. Its when the fuel ignites before its supposed to, before TDC and that make the knock sound. My Detroit 12.7 started getting louder in november, roughly same time, and not as smooth, I assumed it was the fuel as once in awhile in remote parts of the country i fill up and its fine again.
