Really bad co driver

The company *finds out real quick when I stop the truck on the shoulder, order the co-driver out, and call the cops (both for the assault, and for the need for at least one driver to take a ride to somewhere safe).

(*) This might not be as objective as the corporate types would like (unless co-driver already has a reputation for it), but it will at least solve *my* problem.

I also have a very comprehensive rule regarding team driving: Only if I have personally recruited and trained the co-driver.

 

Report them? Why? Because for some unknown reason they completely vanished into thin air!

The thing that irks me is the original post is most concerned about the trucking company becoming involved in what basically is HE SAID SHE SAID BS.

Your co driver pokes you in the eyes while you’re operating the truck. Your life is in danger. “Oh, how will I ever get the company to believe me?”

Someone is trying to harm you, possibly end you and you’re concerned about being a good little employee? Embarrassing.
