Bout the only way I'd do an old ride now is something out of a field I could tow off for maybe $50.

Anything that's 50 years old needs a full resto.

You can get a hell kitty or a scat pack for a lot less, put gas in it, run 10's.

If the supercharger blows through the hood, get it towed to the dealer ( on their dime ) pick up your rental ( on their dime ) until your's is fixed like new ( on their dime ).

Modern day brakes???? Ummmm yes please.

Once you get used to the SS handling, it's hard to let go though.

Considering that it is a sipping bourbon. It’s not that expensive. About $60.00 a bottle.

Nice! I hope you are NOT mixing this. Maybe an (as in single) ice cube.

Good Bourbon is, like that four roses, a sipping beverage. Not something you pound.
Most high quality Bourbons should be sipped and enjoyed. Never mixed with anything. At best maybe an ice cube, occasionally a tiny shot of seltzer, like just wave the seltzer over it.
