The OP is referring to an STI claim (subject to inspection) on a vehicle delivered after hours for United Road through their Haully app. This post should be in the auto hauler thread.

    Thank you all!
Sorry my confusion in explaining myself my first language isn't English.

The loads were delivered to the STI (no one signed) and for the BOL we used the company's app, with photos but the Company said that photos don't prove nothing. We are talking about a very small damage (Strach like a chipped stone in cars) and they asking a (for example) $800 labor and $300 a parts.

Do you have a lawyer to recommend? I'm in the state of Connecticut.

A lawyer won’t do you any good since you are responsible for the repairs. Whether or not the damage was done on your watch or even if it wasn’t there when you left the unit, you are paying for it. A good dealer will touch up a minor chip and no one will ever notice it, bad dealers get paid to paint the entire body panel and then touch it up pocketing the thousand. It is just part of doing business but I have paid a thousand to have scratch less than an inch repaired. One particular dealer got put on my do not deliver list and will be walking before they receive any cars from me. If you don’t have a personal relationship with the check in person at the dealer, don’t STI.
