I was in a similar situation. Ended up getting a 2021 Freightliner from Pedigree Truck Sales. They do a dyno, inspected, and serviced the truck. I've had great luck with it and it averages around 8.5 mpg. Did you decide what to do?

Crap. That sucks. Yeah mine is still going strong. Plastics are fine. I'll admit there's a bit more rattling noise in the cab though.
