Dude, if you can be patient with that W E thing you can find a decent company without a contract involved. Have you talked with J & R Schugel or Freymiller?Another Canadian driver, TX2Day and CMFlex Thank this.

I tried with Freymiller. Just now hearing about the other company. Im also trying to start with flatbed. I was actually pondering, maybe you know; if I was to tell companies that I dont want my hair taken from scalp for "religious reasons", would there be further questioning? or just simply take from another body part? Hair on my beard is long enough and its about to be 3 months since I last smoked but i've also already trimmed the hairs that were there when I was smoking pot.Another Canadian driver and austinmike Thank this.

Extra pair of eye glasses if you wear eye glasses. Also pen and paper in your pocket at all times, AND a folded up paper towel at all times. (for the times you gotta' go anf there's no TP in your stall.)

For making notes to yourself about the gaurd/clerk's instructions, your trip plan, routing, load info, scratch math pad, and most importantly:
THINGS YOUR TRAINER TELLS YOU.
If they are talking about trucking, they are generally not speaking to hear the sound of their own voice. They want you to hear, understand, and remember. Remembering is easier if you write it down as it engages multiple brain pathways. Plus you can go back and read your notes later.
In other thoughts - extra socks and change them frequently. Sunglasses and a brimmed hat. Cell phone charger and a 12 volt USB plug in.Another Canadian driver, Vampire, CMFlex and 3 others Thank this.
