It’s cool, I haven’t worked in a couple days due to wonderful spring rains but I did snap a couple pictures for ya.
But after talking to my mechanics today, I’m not sure what they’re gonna be able to do at this point other than someday taking it to a Peterbilt dealer because now, supposedly, the mobile mechanic my boss knows who has a laptop with the proper software who can do things to these newer trucks said he can’t get into the computer now so I don’t know what the hell I’m gonna do.
But here’s those pics. As you can see in the picture, that part that I showed you in the other pictures that has the block plate in it, that just comes right down into the exhaust manifold.

That is where the bellows between the egr valve and egr cooler goes.
Egr valve is mounted to exhaust manifold.
I'm not sure what to tell you about the bpv. The factory trucks don't like it when that is disconnected. The ones I have seen tuned still have that connected, right or wrong.Arctic_fox Thanks this. -

So what do you mean when you say the factory trucks don’t like the back pressure valve disconnected being that my truck really isn’t factory anymore being that it’s deleted? What does that BPV even do? After the truck was deleted, I’m not even so sure that cylinder that works the BPV even works but even if it was still operational, when does it activate? Is it supposed to help with boost? Act as a waste gate?

See if exhaust pressure before turbine sensor tube is plugged.
Oxbow, QUALITYTRUCK and corneileous Thank this. -
Where’s that? -
Bpv will help the engine warm up by creating back pressure and holding more heat in the engine. This is needed by egr, during regens or cold engine operation. This valve also helps with engine braking.
I have had the actuator stuck closed and it acts like turbo does nothing cause the engine can't breathe. -

Questions guy. I have several trucks, all 2020 or newer paccar engines. Getting codes spn 7332 fmi 16. Searching it up cant find anything on it. On my samsara devises says After treatment thermo management system. After several shop all which wanted to put new dpf filters and charge 1000s, i replaced the exhaust heat sensors. So far on the first two trucks it seemed to have worked as now they are running at less than 15% soot level. Just did the 3rd to so seeing if i get the same luck. Anyone here have any information on this code. Systems were slight loss of power and worse fuel economy. I am by no keans a certified mechanic, just a man raised and taught that you cant run a company unless you know all end of it from driving to mechanicing so i do as much as i can on my small fleet of 23 and try to be proactive. Ive never seen this code on the forums so if ive found a fix hopefully itll help someone else. If im wrong then maybe someone can fix me lol.
