I didn't even question it lol. I never heard of Puxico until I got the load info and you mentioned it on here. Maybe they have some sort of connection. Siedhoff equipment has always looked great. How'd ya like it there? Seemed like a slightly more regional version of Climate's running style based off one guy I follow on tiktok that drove there, if that makes sense

It's roughly 1800. Easy enough running 600 mi/ day. It delivers Friday 0500. What I'm not looking forward to is that it's a dry and freezer load. This place in Spokane URM Foods (I think) will have me at 2 different docks for that.bryan21384 Thanks this.

When I first got my cdl 18 years ago and worked for them it was awesome. I was 20 years old, they had fast trucks, paper logs and didn’t ask any questions. I worked there a little over 5 years. I went back to them about 2 years or so ago and wow have things changed. I lasted a week. Freightliner trucks where they have every parameter set on them so ridiculous and it’s beeping and buzzing at you constantly and everytime it does it records it on their PeopleNet and you get a phone call. They are adamant they want you 6 seconds behind a vehicle and it doesn’t matter if you’re on the 270 loop at 4:30 on the afternoon. When you try to leave that much gap all it does is show the 4 wheeler about to pass up his exit “oh there’s a spot” and they whip in front of you. Then your truck beeps and brakes, flags your PeopleNet, they review the video and you get a phone call. If you reach for a drink or something to eat, it flags the camera, they review the video you get a phone call. They are set at 65 mph. If you let er roll off a hill and hit 67 mph, they review the video and you get a phone call. They have a minimum pay a week, I think it’s like $1,200. Good equipment, great benefits and vacation, a great shop and the owners and office are all family and cool. But that safety department is insane. I get being safe and yada yada yada but it’s just ridiculous. I got back from a week run and told them we best part ways. They tap in and watch that driver facing cam WAAY to much, and apparently only want the truck on a road all by itself. And I don’t have to tell you when a heavy freight lane is St. Louis to Kansas City, that ain’t happening.dwells40, Gearjammin' Penguin and DonRobbie Thank this.
