I figured a Walmart facility in AR wouldve been a tightly run ship being that close to HQ. None of em are super fast, but still usually a couple hours or less.

Enjoy your time at home! Ended up getting routed through the house and delivering in Holts Summit on Monday morning, so I'll be leaving tomorrow.
Yeah, it gets a little snug up there lol. Especially since he was backing between a couple spread axel flatbeds that hung out a little more than us door swingers. And yeah, I doubt they will too since it's minor. I just had to report it to not get the blame since I've been in this truck since it was new lol.

It was a blast at home man! Good thing you're getting out of Missouri before that bad weather hits. I dropped at Sauer this morning, and as usual it was easy. Deadheaded to Pineville, NC to reload for the Dollar General in Fulton, MO. They give free snacks for the drivers!!! I racked up lol...sometimes freebies are an indicator that loading is going to take awhile. Hell I'm ok with that right now. It's about to be rush hour in Charlotte so if this becomes a graveyard run, that's fine by me!!!

Between Charlotte and the congestion on 26, graveyard run is definitely my preference for that area. Even better -- you'll either drop it in Craftsmen or might get to reload a long run from PFS. That Dollar General in Fulton is as good as they get. Way better than the locations in Scottsville and BG, KY

I'm in Colby, KS -- headed to Coke in Denver, but doesn't deliver til Wednesday at 11:00, sadly. I could squeak in a 34 if I really wanted, but would rather just play it safe. Was 20+mph winds since Hays, but no gusts, so it was a smooth ride.

They're kind of running it by committee it seems. Either Nate, Chris, or one of the ladies working in the office there takes the calls. As a matter of fact, I did all the dialogue with her last time when I needed a tire patched. I can't remember her name though.

Man I didn't get out of there til about 8 pm. The free snacks made up for the delay though lol. I got a good nap in and everything. I've got just shy of 3 hours left to roll. I'll be seeing the sun come up. The delay was a blessing in disguise, that's for sure. I breezed through Charlotte but the Waynesville Pilot had only 2 pumps working. Some moronic driver was airing his trailer tire at the pump, he was using one of those hoses that you hook to your glad hands. I couldn't even believe he was doing that as if I wasn't behind him....all I could do was chuckle. The truck stop Karens would have tried to put him on Bonehead Truckers lol. Then there was a rolling road block through the gorge. Finally in rhythm now.

If you're going to 40th street Coke, don't forget you can park at that warehouse overnight, and they will take you early if they aren't busy. I'll go to that Coke any day. That's probably my favorite one to deliver to.

Ended up picking up taters from Monte Vista today. Made it here to Oakley, KS, but doesn't deliver in Moberly until 00:30 on Saturday. Bit of a slow week with the waits for deliveries. Have another chance to fit in a mid week 34 if I wanted. I know there's not a laundry list of profitable backhauls from Colorado though, so gotta take the occasional L as a driver at times... especially coming off a holiday weekend. Really not too bad the more I think about it. Basically just recap pacing, but it's a long day followed by a short day instead of spaced out.

Just hoping they have a decent weekend run, so I don't end up basically sitting for 3 days straight since I'll be in Moberly by 18:00 or so tomorrow.

In Washington and thru Oregon, Climate trucks and Champs Chicken trailers abound. Are you guys delivering them directly to stores or taking it to various distribution centers?

Man I ended up with 2500 or so miles for the week. A little but slower than it has been but I'm ok with it. I got down to Waco to deliver 6pm Friday. On the way down, I hit a dog. Oops. He wandered out on 35 like he was trying to die. Minor cosmetic damage. Took pics. Delivered and reloaded to go back to Pageland. I'm working the Carolinas something serious right now. It's ok though. The miles are good so that's the most important part.

Moberly runs can be a killer to a week depending on when you load it. Mr. Potato Head better known as @Lumper Humper can attest to that. Lol. They'll probably put you on a Coke load or one of those Champs Chicken runs. You'll sure be close enough
