Bill Introduced to Kill NAFTA

Well it will be interesting to see who comes out against this bill, with the bad economy and elections coming up.

This idea sounds good on the surface, but I say not so fast. Where in the heck is all these goods we buy going to come from? We don't make anything here. Where is our oil going to come from? Contrary to popular belief, our number one and number two supplier of oil is Canada and Mexico, not the Middle East. We aren't drilling here, in fact the frickin Chinese are drilling off the coast of Florida.

Protectionism right now ain't the answer. The Smoot–Hawley Tariff Act in 1930 is often cited for the number one reason we went into the Great Depression.

 

Gee, Mabe we will have to go back and start be self sufficient again, Naw, that would create industry and jobs, Can't have that.

 

Lest we forget,it was Bill "Blowjob" Clinton that signed NAFTA,signed the repeal of Glass Steagel,and let China in the WTO. The Liberals hate America.

 

but wasnt it a gop majority house and senate when it passed.

 

Bill Clinton signed the bill but it was Bush Sr who passed it to him. Their all the same guys Dems and Rubs. The only thing their good at is dividing the country. What the people want dosent matter anymore. Hows that Hope and Change thing working for ya?

 

The liberals want to give the country away and the conservatives want to sell the country away.
