I am looking at hauling new boats. I am an owner op looking to sign on with Synergy marine division as its a decent rate and the availability of backhauls. Perfect CDL all endorsements. Getting closer to retirement. I run a pre ELD truck and prefer the south. Any other suggestions? Ran the oilfield and car hauling for the last 25 years. Looking at power only and these loads seem pretty basic for a decent rate. body isnt up for twists and turns for car hauling or dragging heavy hoses all over the oilfield. Thanks.

I know nothing of these people, other than they deliver new trailers to customers.

He must mean Patrick Marine in Elkhart. They are owned by the same company that owns Synergy and Indiana Transport. It's a niche type of work. They have a fleet of their own lowboy trailers they drop at the boat factories to get pre-loaded, so you can lease your power unit on but trailer wise you have to pull their equipment, which has it's good and bad aspects. The good is that you don't need to own a trailer and all the trailers are pre-loaded and secured. The bad is that it's a different trailer every time you get to deal with and you know how that can be with company equipment. Some of those boats can be over width and require permits also. It pays pretty well.
