Since your deferred is current have you already gotten permission to leave the state? Having that paperwork to show may help

I'm very sorry to have to say this, but you have 2 of the most severe charges relatively recent, and not many will hire you. It seems these companies that are "felon-friendly", are for the less severe crimes, like drugs or disorderly conduct, but almost never hire ones with battery or weapons charge. It's a shame nobody told you that before you got the license, proof positive, they ( schools) want your money, but job placement isn't their priority. Sadly, you may be a good person now, and would make a heck of a driver, but our system doesn't work that way. Regardless of what they say, in employers and governments eyes, once a criminal, always a criminal. Best of luck, pal.

If you just got your CDL last month, I'm assuming you have no experience. So, you'll need to focus on a company that will also train you. Generally speaking, your going to need 2 years experience for most companies, 1 year for some others. There are companies that take new CDLs and train them. You just gotta find a company who will hire people with a record & with a new CDL. That really limits you. Not impossible by any means but it does limit you.
I see you applied for a couple of waste companies. Like some other companies, your past may not always be the issue... it could be because your a new CDL holder... with or without prior experience.
Good luck.....NEWCDLGUY49, 201 and bryan21384 Thank this. -
Call Western first thing Monday morning. Sometimes with the big companies you have to be proactive. Just tell them you want to check on the status of your application. With the deferred judgment, are you going to have to take time off to handle any business concerning the charges? Will you have to go to court and are you able to travel everywhere with no interruptions?
