I'm looking to sell my whole outfit. MC is two years old with a clean record and no failed inspections. I have accounts with over 20 highly rated brokers.
Some of the brokers I work with are:
Amazon Relay, Schneider, J.B. Hunt, Convoy, Watco, Red River Logistics, Dallas Great Mavis, ITS, Integrity Express Logistics, PAM Logistics, GlobalTranz, Varstar and over a dozen others. I can give you a complete list if you send me a private message. Factoring is with Steelhead Finance and TriumphPay.
Truck is a 2009 Freightliner with an inframe that has less than 200,000 miles on it. Reefer is a 2013 Utility in great working and cosmetic shape.
I will consider $20,000 for the MC by itself.
Please message me with any questions or offers.

Do people really pay that kind of money for an MC#?
-
I think the truck and trailer have a lot to do with that price. Some of these scammers might pay this amount for the whole shebang so they can continue to pull off their scams without having to start from scratch. An MC# in good standing by itself can proably go for $10k. But I've read that the FMCSA is doing away with MC numbers, so who the heck knows. I mean, can't a scammer just continue the scam using DOT numbers instead? One scammer that got me last year ran off with over $150,000 in unpaid freight bills.Siinman, Vampire, Diesel Dave and 2 others Thank this.

Perhaps TTR should consider limiting these types of adds. Maybe limit them to long time members.. I see many of these adds where the person just freshly signed.along with the responses from the one day members.
To me the forum is just enabling the actual scammers.
For me the only reason I can see someone buying used numbers is for a low number.. Kind of like getting a low number license plate for your car. -
$20k sounds more reasonable for the whole shebang. Those brokers anyone can have excess's too. Like mentioned already, FMSCA is doing away with the MC numbers.
Siinman, Ruthless, ElmerFudpucker and 3 others Thank this. -
I'll run my truck and trailer into the ground before I sell them for $20K! I mean, anyone can make $20,000 in two months, even in this market. And with the MC#? Heck, I paid $40,000 for my Columbia, albeit I over-paid because of the Covid craziness. If someone were to offer me $50,000 for everything, I would probably sell. But only to start up again with newer equipment. But I think it's best just to stay the course and keep running the equipment until it can run no more. There's an older retired guy here in Vegas willing to sell me his 07 Columbia for $4000! If and when I expand I might go that route.Siinman, Concorde and Diesel Dave Thank this.

I missed the comma after “company” on first glance and thought he was trying to sell the “company truck”.
You never know anymore what people might try…..Siinman, austinmike, Accidental Trucker and 3 others Thank this. -

HI, I am new, about to be completing my CDL. I don't understand why I should be limited. An old member with an existing has no real reason to look into this post unless selling. So with all due respect, I don't understand why you are complaining.
