Don't rely on anyone else when you're manning the helm, when it comes to the nut cuttin you're responsible.
Choose the people you take advice from, an old hand in a Cat hat with a pair of coke bottle glasses will teach you more in five minutes than any truck driver school will ever be able to.
There's no shame in getting out and checking. You can get out and look a thousand times, you only get fired once.

 

Apply to every job you see on Indeed and Craigslist. Drive around your city and apply to every company you see with trucks in their lots. Even do Class B positions. Someone will say yes.

Make sure you explain that you were fresh out of school and in training with the trainer sitting right there and he instructed you to make the maneuver. Then explain you now understand what you did wrong (listening to him, not getting out to look, etc), and it is something you will not repeat going forward.
