I've never ran to Coke in Indianapolis. A long walk to check in isnt too bothersome for me, unless it is raining lol. Justin is still here as well. Running the hell out of everybody lol. I like it though. You probably should have put in for home time once you got burned out...Coke on back home man lol

You've had a really nice week that's for sure. You get some Philly cheese steak action over there? Lol, we're getting some different runs that's for sure. I'm actually supposed to be at home, but they made a mistake and sent me to Hershey in PA from Edwardsville amd back. I asked them if I had remembered to request tomorrow off for Dr's appts. They admitted that they fouled up. I thought when I got back to Edwardsville I'd reload out of there and pass through Memphis. Then they told to take the rest of the weekend off. I gotta admit that it took the air out of my day some on Friday, but I couldn't stay mad at them because they so rarely make mistakes. They did own it, which means something to me. So tomorrow, I'll have to reschedule appts and try again in a couple of weeks or so. At least I put down some big miles this week. Got new steers on my truck and it got realigned on Thursday. It was long overdue too, it showed that it hadn't been aligned since like 90k miles amd I've got 422k lol. It drives like brand new. I got back to Pontoon Beach so I'll be getting into the NBA amd NHL playoffs later on today. Relax all the way til tomorrowKnucklehead, Peace_Maker and motocross25 Thank this.

Yeah, man, that's rough. Especially for a doctor's appointment. I think they should've added a few dollars to your check for the trouble, but it is what it is. If they're great 95% of the time, it's a little easier to overlook those situations. Sitting all weekend is rough too, man. I guess them sending me home is basically along the same lines lol. I'd much rather have ran out to CO or something than sit at home all weekend. Things will smooth out shortly, hopefully.Peace_Maker, bryan21384 and motocross25 Thank this.

It's all good though, it'll smooth out later today or even sometime this week. I only sat yesterday. I watched so much basketball and hockey yesterday it was crazy.....I wish the Predators had got a win though lolmotocross25 Thanks this.

I'll be getting my food and snacks ready.....they sent me to King Soopers in Fountain, CO. I don't even have to go to sleep too early, because I'll get a good nap in Fountain lol
Lumper Humper, mdmgolfin and Peace_Maker Thank this. -
That's a fun one lol. I knew it was gonna be a while when they politely said it'll be awhile since they go piece by piece, so go ahead and get a nap in. Left my 10am appointment at like 16:00 last yearPeace_Maker, Lumper Humper and motocross25 Thank this.

Hey fellas!!! The other day, Fountain took 4½ hrs! I was actually impressed by that! Lol I think that's pretty good 3400 cases of candy. My reward was to run to Monte Vista and grab potatoes for Moberly. The unfortunate thing is it don't deliver til tonight at 12:30 am. Never understood why they give 3 days to run that. It was 169 empty and 927 loaded. A driver that knows what he's doing should be able to run that in 2 days easily. Oh well...I may try to creep over there and get a 34 while I'm here.
Peace_Maker, Lumper Humper, motocross25 and 3 others Thank this. -
Yeah, ive never understood that either. I can understand in the heavy winter months like November to early March, but that's an easy next day delivery. Especially on a route like that with almost zero chance of traffic besides *maybe* KC. That's why I always hope for those Western Sugar loads. 4.5 hours in Fountain isn't too shabby lol. With your waiting around in Moberly, I guess you can just chalk that detention pay up as free money.
I'm basically in the same boat. Ran from Lebanon, TN to PFS and then PFS to Brenham, TX yesterday (NW of Houston). Got sent a reload from Buda, TX to Greenville, which is roughly 1200 miles with deadhead. Got excited until I realized it doesn't deliver til Monday morning lol. Was hoping for a Houston to STL reload where I could pick up something else this weekend and keep rolling. I guess that's the downside to those unrequested hometimes.. those missed weekend miles can make slow weeks feel really slow. In Rayville, LA now. Hoping to get to Piedmont, SC tonight and then twiddle my thumbs til Sunday evening and then I'll head over to park onsite overnight.Peace_Maker, motocross25 and dwells40 Thank this. -
Hell with a run that big, you could get them to split the miles. You can send a message for them to do so. I never had to send a message all the time, it was always done when I had a big 1200 mile or more run. I was trying to sneak I'm a 34 here but they set my next pickup for tomorrow at 10 am. I'm getting milk to go to Costco in Brookshire, TX. I don't mind that Costco. Better than the one in Atlanta lolPeace_Maker, Thrasher28 and dwells40 Thank this.
