Have worked 5 extra 6th day runs so far this year. Been called off only one day, so far. New run, never. All in all, great. We never have gotten back to the momentum we had before the cyber attack.

That's pretty much the same for me. I haven't been cancelled at all. There have been times I came in and they asked me to run a longer run and let a new guy run mine. No complaints so far.

He must've been serious about warning someone haha. The only thing I dislike about Houston is they have the tendency to try to send you East.

There are a lot of programs for first time home buyers that don’t require you to put any money down at all. You will undoubtedly have closing costs but you don’t need 20% down.

Depends on what you earn and what kind of property. 300k property and somebody else gonna put money down? Where at? I'll definitely love the help.

Good luck getting your bid accepted with those programs as part of the offer. Things have slowed by me a bit, but if a buyer puts an inspection contingency in the offer they better be 20k over the next bid.

    dwells40 Thanks this.

Yeah it's still a complete war out there for properties. People are still backing up off VA loans too.

Been three years since I posted that and since then I ended up purchasing a home with 20% down.

I went with a new build so it definitely wasn’t necessary to put down that much, but it helped make the mortgage approval process very simple.

    dwells40 Thanks this.
