Hello all,
My previous "paid off" dd13 cascadia gave out started pushing coolant..so I sold it for 10k.
I made a huge mistake over the weekend and signed papers at the dealership in TX for a 19' mack anthem w/380k mi for $55k.-> financed it for 4yr- $67K. I will email the lender today and try to stop funding on it.
Can I ask how I can get out of this truck in 6+ months to persue a different career?
work/pay it down enough to try and sell?
Put a driver in it and agree to sell it to him?
Big time buyers remorse.
Thank you.

Does Texas have the ‘3-day’ clause?
Best call the lender, and tell them you changed your mind. If they hassle you, tell them you’ll refuse to sign the loan documents. No loan, no purchase.Diesel Dave Thanks this. -
No they dont have that clause, I will try with the Lender.

Did you pick it up? Did you put a deposit down?

No and No..but slimey salesman had me sign a few dealer contracts. The truck is still in the dealership shop..fixing minor electrical issues. Read that TX considers it sold if I sign something. man I hope the lender can stop funding.

On the loan application, did the lender require information from your bank/credit union? As to account balances, cd’s, how much cash you have in deposit? If so contact your bank asap Monday morning, and transfer those monies to a different account not listed on the loan application. Talk with your banker about your situation, they should be willing to work with you.

I canceled a timeshare many moons ago, I even left a down payment/deposit. This was in a Saturday and by Monday I had a written letter saying I wanted out/canceled. I didn’t know this at the time since I was only a kid, had an old timer help me, regardless, I got out of that contract.

Try hard to get out of it. The lender isn't going to want to set up a loan with an unwilling person. Did you apply for the loan? Sign agreement on it? ECT...
If you have no deposit down, I think you are in a good position. What leverage do they have? They may ##### but you haven't signed for it or taken possession. But I'm not a lawyer.
