Ontario Provincial Police Crackdown On Drunk Driving

Canadians would drive drunk? Gee, that seems so un-Canadian... so impolite.

 

The GTA will probably have a lot of Truckers with issues if they're pulled over. Its good for everyone though.

Those who drink & driver better fix their problem quickly.

 

I use to come upon drunk driving spot checks in Northern Ontario they always just waved truck drivers through.
In recent years they have been catching a lot of truckers drunk, so now they'll just test everyone. British Columbia and Saskatchewan now both have the same policy.

 

Canadians are no longer polite anymore. Since the current Prime Minister took over since late
2015 things took a dive towards a 3rd world mentality.

 

I'm starting to wonder if they're making Ontario the testing grounds for All of North America including other Canadian Provinces and U.s. states for the future.? In Ontario, Canada they're implementing for more alcohol sales in gas stations and convenience stores. For Truckers who have an drinking problem (I've met plenty back in the late 90's & early 2000's) this will affect them more then ever.

 

Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? Oh right its Canada, you're guilty until you're proven innocent. Even then they're still suspicious of you.

 

Alberta has been doing 100% mandatory breathalyzer tests at checkstops for several years, they will also do 100% breathalyzer testing at scales on occasion.

I was stopped on my linehaul heading north of Fort McMurray two weeks ago, they stopped all traffic and you took the breathalyzer.

Officer had me hop out of the truck, take the test, then on my way.

 

Really? I've never been breathalyzed in Alberta.
