I had couple mechanics that at Freightliner shop tell me that too many mechanic change and accuse the one box to be the problem, They more time then not it's always something else. So I kept that in mind and my onebox has 1.3 million miles on it no problems. Now I've replaced everything else lol every sensor,Dpf,wiring harness, pump,Metering valve, & computer I've even had to change the Doser Block. Idk maybe I've been lucky
But what's your opinion not about the system I already know everyone hates it.
But Do ya'll think to offend it unnecessarily replaced?

Did you purchase the truck Brand new ?
-
No 365k when I bought it.
-
If system is working properly than you can bake it of the spot builds up too quick… mine has 745k with original system and works well
-
I just replaced mine at 700k. It’s not a one box. Cummins says the life of them are about 500k for the DOC and DPF.
-
Had the engine rebuilt while that was happening I pulled the one box out sent it to get inspected said the doc look good and the scr still had the protective ooat. I really never had any problem with the system until about 850k Then I would lose a nox sensor a pump ect. Hell I use to just wash out the dpf but trade them in a 1.2 million figured the integrity of them was about done lol.

I had mine inspected at 1.3mi freightliner said the same thing but it hasn't gave me a problem so I decided to send it for inspection they told doc & scr looked good so said screw it run it lol.cascadia4life and Diesel Dave Thank this.
