    Her actually.
    She might be terminated!
Here’s the deputy’s body cam footage, courtesy of Sandusky County Sheriff’s Office!
Postal van was a Mercedes Benz Metris van.

Postal worker caught racing Mustang in USPS van, hitting 105 mph in a 60 mph zone

Judging by the “damage control” statement the USPS released, they’re not too pleased with her!!

Benz makes some bad as fluff vehicles.
The E63 S AMG “station wagon” will put down a 0-60 in 3.0 seconds.. 125mph in less than 10!
    Will corner with 1g force.

When the Pete gets sold that’ll be my retirement car :)
Not much the US manufacturers produce can touch it

I drive for the postal service, not a mail carrier but a truck driver it’s hard to get fired once you get past your 90. Some of the stuff that’s been pulled is amazing, and these guys keep their jobs. No cameras of any kind and the trucks go 75.

Anyone else she would be in jail and the van would be impounded.
In Massachusetts it would get her:
Reckless endangerment charges (21 mph over the limit)
“Concierge limo service” to the graybar hotel
    Free jewelry (handcuffs)
An audience with the judge to determine any further sanctions (license suspension/revocation,definitely points against her license, plus an insurance surcharge)

    105 mph in a 60 zone would get her a $550 fine
($100 base fine plus $10 dollars for each mph over the limit-they charge exponentially in Massachusetts).

But since she’s a government employee the deputy cut her a little break.
But I’m betting USPS might be thinking about putting speed limiters on their parcel van fleet!lol

Minor update, according to Sandusky County Sheriff Chris Hilton the young lady has a speed demon mentality.
Her license has been suspended 3 times,it was reinstated 2 years ago.
She’s had 4 driving convictions-3 for speeding and 1 for a seat belt violation!

Aside from the reduced fine for being a Postal employee, i wonder if she gets vehicle insurance discount too. Maybe doing 105 mph in govt vehicle qualifies her as First Responder ?:dontknow:
