Not that I know of, though I will be going at some point for vacation for sure and Naples will def be on the list. Unfortunately paying down debt gets priority right now. I just figured if I poured the hours I spend listening to music in the truck into learning a language I’d have it learned in no time, and I’d always heard Italian was relatively easy for a native English speaker so why not give it a shot. Totally worth it btw while having virtually no connection to the place. A large part of that being just the daily mental puzzle that it is. I figure by the time I’m ready to travel there I’ll be more than half ### fluent ha.

Try to visit Isle of Capri while in Naples. It's a short boat ride out there. Topless beaches and all that good stuff.
Capri is an island located in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the Sorrento Peninsula, on the south side of the Gulf of Naples in the Campania region of Italy.

Very nice. When I do go I’d rather try and visiit a bunch of places kinda off the beaten path as possible, not counting Rome. I’ve seen enough videos of Venice I feel like I don’t even need to go there.

Write down and make a list of things that are interesting to you or that you want to learn about because believe it or not truck driving is a great way to do that with all the podcasts and audiobooks and things that you can listen to while driving. You wouldn’t believe the things that I’ve always been curious about, but never had the time to educate myself about that. I’ve accomplished while driving down the road. I listen to podcasts, I listen to audiobooks, anything I’m interested in or curious about. I also bought a year subscription to ChatGPT number four. The latest version and basically you can ask that thing anything and it will spit out a complete report for you. I mostly use it to find resources to other things of interest. But yeah I’m with you on the music. I like music as much as anybody, but you can only listen to so much of it a day. Then your mind just kind of goes numb. And it all starts to sound the same. Lol .

A must see is 2 places, any of the villages along Lake Como and Cinque Terra. Over the years my wife and I have taken the high speed rail all over every inch of Italy, and rented a car and drove all over the country.

Id only recommend that when educating yourself, you try and stay on one or two topics at a time until you have a true understanding of the fundamentals. It’s very easy to jump from topic to topic nowadays and never get in deep on anything.

The biggest problem happening at the moment is nearly every YouTuber is seeing a big drop in revenue as YouTube cut its pay outs. So what we have is a bunch of people were making a living doing these “informative” videos are now scrambling to cover their bills. So that leads to click bait titles and worse, they try and lure you in with hate and fear and rage type stories. Anytime you find a video is getting you worked up you have to stop and ask yourself if they are intentionally using “trigger words” and stories. 99% of the time they are.

Stuff like immigration (badly needed to grow our economy) politics (a frickin sesspool of liars and cheats) future economy (reading a crystal ball) are the most common offenders.

Probably the best thing anyone could study right now is psychology and emotions and the mind. These things are being targeted and used against us by everyone from giant corporations and government to popular YouTubers everyday.

Also, most of my day, especially mornings, I like to drive without any noise.

That’s crazy you say that I just started driving without noise recently for a little woke which is very unusual for me. I also discovered that when I do that, I do some of my best thinking.
